Dunamis was started in 2010 by Toni Haskell after her ten years of ministry and training in Manila, Philippines.

 

Just two months after her first trip to Nepal, the nation went from a Hindu monarchy to a secular republic, allowing legal Christian worship for the very first time. This was a huge step for the Church in Nepal which is only 70 years old. Until 2008 Christians were beaten and jailed for their faith.

 

While evangelism is still illegal and the Church remains marginalized facing social persecution, God is moving mightily! Ministries like Dunamis have added to this rapid growth by teaching the Word of God and strengthening leaders and believers alike.

 

With over 1200 graduates, Dunamis Nepal continues to expand: planting churches and training leaders who are reaching the unreached, discipling converts, starting ethical and creative businesses, and bringing godly influence through music and media and many other avenues of service.

 

Dunamis training has been multiplied into Croatia, India and Peru, and we are expecting to empower leaders in the Middle East as we move forward.
